The report shows that the main reasons for the significant growth in sales and profits in the first half of the year are twofold: first, the company continues to optimize its product structure and reasonably layout its domestic and international markets, while the production capacity of automotive sheet products has exceeded expectations, resulting in a significant increase in sales compared to the same period last year; second, aluminum ingot prices have continued to rise, and although the prices of bulk raw materials have also increased, the profit margin for aluminum products has still increased compared to the same period last year.
Nanshan Aluminum is a leading enterprise in high-end aluminum processing integration in China, with a complete aluminum industry chain in the same region globally, including power generation, alumina, electrolytic aluminum, high-end casting, extruded aluminum profiles, thick plate rolling, thin plate rolling, aluminum foil rolling, and various alloy forging. Its end products are widely used in several fields such as aviation, automotive, rail transportation, shipping, electricity, and containers. It has become a supplier for aircraft manufacturers such as CRRC, COMAC, Boeing, Rolls-Royce, and Safran, as well as many world-class automotive companies like BMW and General Motors, and is a member of the world’s top aviation materials suppliers club and the first domestic manufacturer of aluminum plates for passenger cars with four doors and two hoods.
Since the beginning of this year, Nanshan Aluminum's marketing has achieved steady growth. In the automotive sector, the company’s main supply of automotive sheet business for the new energy vehicle sector has already established cooperation with major domestic and international automotive manufacturers. In April of this year, the sales of the first phase of the automotive sheet project, with a capacity of 100,000 tons, have exceeded 10,000 tons, and the construction of the second phase of the 100,000-ton project is also progressing in an orderly manner. With the trend of automotive lightweight development becoming increasingly evident, Nanshan Aluminum's automotive sheet business is expected to continue to maintain rapid growth. In the aviation sector, Nanshan Aluminum is committed to becoming a world-leading supplier of aviation and automotive materials and a first-class aluminum processing enterprise. It has already become a supplier of aviation plates for many top aircraft manufacturers in the world, achieving full-range and full-series certification for aviation aluminum alloys, becoming a qualified supplier for many mainstream aircraft manufacturers, and achieving bulk supply. In the battery foil sector, Nanshan Aluminum has become a core supplier for well-known battery manufacturers such as CATL. In addition, Nanshan Aluminum's low-cost alumina project laid out in Indonesia has already put its first phase of 1 million tons into production in the first half of this year, which will further improve Nanshan Aluminum's resource self-sufficiency rate, reduce production costs, and enhance profit levels.

Recently, many cities across the country are preparing international health stations as new temporary isolation sites. To standardize management and improve epidemic prevention, as well as to address the need for rapid construction and flexible assembly, prefabricated aluminum alloy houses are quietly becoming the "new favorite" in the construction of isolation sites. Last year, the Hong Kong Zhu Gaowan Quarantine Center successfully promoted the use of quickly constructed prefabricated aluminum alloy houses.

The "dual carbon" goals bring new opportunities for the development of recycled aluminum.
The "Implementation Plan for Carbon Peak in the Nonferrous Metal Industry" preliminarily proposes that by 2025, China's nonferrous metal industry strives to achieve carbon peak ahead of schedule, and aims to reduce carbon emissions by 40% by 2040. This plan is five years earlier than the national carbon peak timeline. Carbon neutrality may bring historic new opportunities for the development of the recycled aluminum industry.
